How Data Is Stored

All data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, encrypted at rest. Board documents are additionally encrypted with a dedicated encryption key. All data is retained within the EU (London and Ireland data centres).

Who Has Access

  • Admin users (steering group members with admin access) can view form submissions.
  • Board members can access board documents only.
  • No data is shared with third parties.

Data Retention

  • Form submissions: retained for 2 years, then deleted.
  • Board documents: retained for the life of the community energy society.
  • Gallery images: retained until removed by an admin.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
